like every site any of you have played at, we have some rules! the point isn’t to make things difficult or to take away your fun, but the basic rules that we have here are to make sure that everyone has a comfortable, safe place!
ONE.
proboards enforces a pg13 rating. that means absolutely no graphic sex (meaning sexual acts of any kind!), drug use, or violence. if you get into risqué situation, please fade to black or take it off site—even doing it by pm goes against the tos. there will be fighting and stuff here, but just don’t turn it into a low budget gorefest, please! don’t include too much explicit detail and we’ll be cool.
TWO.
this is hugely important, guys. RESPECT EACH OTHER. you aren’t required to like each other! not everyone likes everyone else, and that’s fine. however, i will not tolerate any fighting in the cbox, or in the games and general boards, and if i get reports of fighting in the pms, i will be very unhappy. no name calling, and especially no slurs, please! that means racial, sexual, gender-based, mental disorder-based, and anything else you can think of. just don’t even go there, okay? D: we get enough of that offline so let’s just make this a really comfortable place here to play and relax. characters are allowed to use moderate slurs, as long as it is legitimately in character!, but please use discretion.
THREE.
in order to cut down on dead accounts, i’m limiting the amount of characters a player can have to three. if you play with us for a while, and prove that you can handle activity with all three without a problem, then come talk to me! i will happily let you play additional characters if i feel you’ll be able to handle it.
FOUR.
please respect the conversations that we have in private! if i send you a pm or we talk off the site about the site, please keep it in confidence. i’m here to keep things running smoothly and help you guys if you have any problems or concerns, so please leave any of that between us!
