1817 Girard Ave a deep rowhome near broad, this girard ave home has a white stone stoop with ornate rail. not much from the outside, the modern inside filled with a small amount of thrifted furniture and a well-loved kitchen brings in all the charm. the bright natural lights and clean accessories and decorations tie in the welcoming lived-in vibe. DORM ROOM 922C tamer marie johnson is a student at the art institute of philadelphia, and lives at one of the dorm buildings. the elevators are sketchy, but she has managed to make the dorm look really nice; it has an open plan, with a small kitchen but plenty of room to entertain, and plenty of room for her to work on her baking. her bedroom has a skylight and all throughout the dorm, she has called in design-based friends to help her put together an apartment with lots of pretty colors, hanging decoration, and bright lights all over. she's the only one living there now, but she's open to the idea of having roommates. 2526 WILLOW AVE a large commercial building that has been converted into large lofts. The ground floor houses a few shops and a cafe. The six floors above it hold roomy lofts. THE DEN Currently, Alexander is living out of his van: a 1960s Volkswagon Microbus [aka panel van]. It's been retrofitted to serve as a decently sized living space with a sturdy firm mattress--just like he likes it. Despite the uniqueness of the vehicle, he likes it because it keeps his location fluid. If he has to stay in the city--or at least near it--he wants the illusion of freedom. APT. 207- 2300 WALNUT STREET Porter's home is a roomy apartment in Center City, that he shares with his folks. It's a large, three-bedroom, two-and-a-half-bath loft with lots of Japanese influence. Tatami mat flooring, rice screen doors and even a kotsaku table in the living room. Porter's room is no exception- His loft bedroom, which overlooks the entire apartment, is full of Pop culture knick-knacks- Mangas, animes, figurines line the shelves and cover his desk. His traditional, imported futon sits in the center, and truly gives you the illusion that your in a teenager's bedroom in Japan. 4907 11TH AND ROCKLAND The house features a gated front porch with a single chair situated in the corner closest to the adjacent house. The living room has standard furniture which includes a partitioned sofa, a large square table, an oversized television, and a stereo. The dining room, which the women of the house barely spend time in, is cluttered with tools and outerwear. A dog cage sits off to the side and usually has a medium sized black pitbull in it. The kitchen is unremarkable. Up the stairs are three bedrooms, one belonging to the "boyfriend", one belonging to the mother, and one belonging to Charlie-Cherie and her younger sister. The bathroom is at the top of the stairs, and there is a room used for storage beside that. The furniture throughout the house has no discernible theme or color scheme, but the walls in Charlie-Cherie's room are blue.
