Hellooo everyone!
So I know that the new semester is in full swing, and everyone is busy with school and their social lives elsewhere! Buuuuut I can't help but notice a complete standstill in activity. I don't know if you guys are even visiting the site anymore, because no one is logging on.
And I would really like to get the plot threads that I had planned to push forward some more, but I can't do that if no one is posting and participating in them. So I'd like to use this as an opportunity for you guys to let me know what we can do to get back some of that interest, or even just let me know what's going on outside of the board so I'm not left wondering who's even left to play.
So let's just officially turn this into an activity check, so I can get an idea of who's left to play for. I won't delete inactive accounts, but I also won't take time to cater to them if they're no longer around. If they want to come back, then that's fine! But those of you who are left, give me at least one thing that you want to see happen, even if it's just a continuation of the current plot ideas. I don't know what else to do to get activity up, so you guys let me know.

Fear not Amanda for your loyal cool kid will forever stay by this site's side. It's just that he's changing campuses next year so on top of regular school work I've got business to take care of as well. But fear not. I've got things in motion to I've got some breathing room for now.
As for the site I would say do what you can to push this plot forward; maybe post as the evil guys and have them set up to attack everyone, and then after another round of posts from us, spring the attack. Just a idea to keep the immediate plot moving, that's all.

I was thinking something like that, too. Or I might just skip over some of the other posters, since they're not online very often, and I want to get things moving? So I'll get started on that post, and whenever I'm finished, I'll post it; if the others haven't gotten to post by then, then idk stuff needs to get moving.

Elsie and Porter are here T.T But their owner's mother has been doing a ton of crap with the computer, and completely sent it haywire. It's a mess T.T Doesn't help that I've been sick, too, as well as stupidly busy. I miss the time when I had no life...

Okay so so far we have three members left, including myself. This has already been up for four days, so I'm not sure what to do about the others.
But I'm not gonna close this after some amount of time, just so that any stragglers can come in!

I hope it is not a problem that I am straggling in so late. I am still present here. I am just... well I am sure everyone is busy as well so there is no excuse. I will be here more from now on if I am still allowed.

Before I posted in the main plot thread, it had sat idly for three weeks.
Okay, guys, I think something needs to change here. Three people have said they're still around and they'd like to be counted, but since I started this two weeks ago, there has been only one post in character. And I'm not asking anyone for a minimum post count! I never have, and I probably won't. But not having one post in the span of two weeks AFTER I POST AN ACTIVITY CHECK TO SEE WHO'S STILL AROUND is a little ridic, I have to say.
I'm not asking for a post a day. I'm not even asking for a post a week. I'm asking that if I've put in the time to build a plot that you guys asked for (or at least didn't protest, because I haven't had anyone approach me about a particular plot idea or thread other than what's in the thread that I posted), and I've tried to accommodate for different schedules or commitments or whatever, it's not really fair to me for no one to be putting in the minimal amount of effort, which I literally think of as logging into at least one account! Or stopping in the cbox to say hi, you're still here! Because right now, the whole site is floating in limbo, and all I know is that everyone is too busy to come play. And that's fine! If you're too busy, you're too busy. Drop the game, it won't hurt my feelings. But I'm taking two reading intensive courses, a physics course, and a logic course, and I still make time to open up a tab and check around and open the cbox to see if anyone wants to chat, and I let it sit there while I do my homework. And honestly, that's all I think is fair to expect from the members who are saying they want to stick around and who want to be a part of the game.
So now I think the issue is more do you all have commitment enough to log in at least every day or two, or let me know that you still exist in the cbox, or should I stop wasting my own time and close it down? And that's fine with me. I have no problem closing it if no one is willing to put in the time; I don't have the time or energy to go on advertising sprees right now, so if I can't rally together the members that we DO have, then I'll just close it up until possibly a later date when I've got more time to spend on trivial things like advertising, because I'd much rather be dedicating my energy to roleplaying and coming up with plots and events for people to play.
So I've done pretty much all that I can for now. It's up to you guys to let me know if you want to actually come play, or if you're dropping out and I should close it up and move on. If you need to give me suggestions for how to improve my admining/plotmaking/whatever to make you stay, then go for it. I'm willing to listen.
Edit: I'm working on the post with the npcs for the smoking room and will be posting it tonight to try and get things moving again. I dropped the ball on making sure I got that done, and that's my bad. So I'm making the effort now to see if it makes a difference in drawing you guys in! So we should all make a better effort to make this work, if there's still interest.
